Personally I also use the lifetime table, it’s been great and folds up small. The only issue I’ve had is with condensation building up on it and it gets super slick when it does. But for a cheap table it does the trick.
If I had the money to spend and was worried about the space, Darche...
Welcome! Have you checked out the Natural State Overland or SpringMo Overland Pages yet on Facebook? They’re both very active, we actually have a group of us going out this weekend to Glade Top. Also if you haven’t yet, stop by Artemis Overland downtown Springfield. It’s the local overlanding...
Awesome idea! I’m in Springfield and would be down for that sort of meet up. I actually just got back from that area of Colorado three weeks ago and t was the best trip I’ve ever done.
Hey OzarkNewb, check out SpringMo Overland. We started a group up in January of this year and we do frequent trail runs as a group and get out often as individuals so you could tags along with someone. We’re based out of Springfield. Also there’s an overlanding shop in Springfield called Artemis...
I don’t know if MVUMs are a abundant in your area. But I would check out motor vehicle use maps in your area. And my favorite app to use for that purpose is Gaia and you can get a free trial for three months of you do it right. You can also layer public land and topo maps with it and that’s helpful.
I may be interested depending on the dates. There’s probably more people interested than just the two people here. We may be able to arrange a meet up.
Super old thread but didn’t want to have to start a new one so thought I would post here and see if I got any responses. I’m lookimg to lift my 98 4Runner and I was looking at putting OME 881 in the front and 906 in the back but after some research I’ve been seeing that people who overland and...
I haven’t but I can say that Meramec and Dogwood Canyon are amazing places to go even if it’s just for hiking and sightseeing. Not sure for overlanding, maybe check the MVUMs in the area. I’ll have to check this route out, as I’m looking to go out next weekend since the weather here is nice.
I’m in Nixa outside of Springfield, if anyone wants to meet up I would be interested. Also new to overlanding so if anyone has any fun and interesting spots in SW Missouri feel free to shoot me some ideas.
That sucks for anyone who ordered. Im still going to keep an eye on them, it would be about the same price as making one myself. So to me the trade off of being able to buy it would be much better. May go see if the local Wal-Mart actually has one in stock and look at the quality.
