Ya, I think 33's is a good next step forward at this point. That is a lot of cash for 1 more inch off the ground. Maybe that is better spent on a nice bumper and winch... ?
I havent heard of Black Steel Wheels before, Any brands you suggest I look at? I have beat to shit the factory chevy rims...
I think now thinking about it, Ill want to put some kind of "nicer" suspension on this this if I ever go to 35s (kings or Icons or something). I saw a video of a guy clearing 35s with a 3.5 Rough country level. But that high of a level might work on the road but trusting that on a remote trail...
yep, that make sense.
I think im not going to focus on what tires and wheels. Im thinking of changing to 16" wheels and maybe the 33" nitto ridge graps? or something similar. I think this will be my main question I want to answer while Im at Overland Expo.
Ya I think your right. Id have to go for a proper King suspension or something. Buy once cry once.
Well this might have made up my mind for now until I really want to drop some bucks on this.
Cort, Thank you! and thanks for this. Good info. The over all price is good to know because obviously this is whole list of stuff needs to be done at once (paid for at once haha)
I saw a video of a guy clearing 35"s with a 3.5" level from rough country on a new Silverado. Made me think it...
Hello everyone! So I was trying to get some knowledge on the impacts of attempting to fit 35"s on a Silverado and I would greatly appreciate anyone input.
Current set up: 2017 Z71 4x4 5.3l V8 Silverado Leveled 2.5" with Goodyear Wargler Duratrack 31"s
So I found this stock set up to be quite...
Hey! I was thinking the same thing. I think my wide hips can handle broken arrow haha. Im actually staying in Sedona for a while after overland expo. hit my up in Insta or somthing, @keppppy
This trio would be awesome! The next few things I’m going for are a hot water system, dual battery onboard, and a more power puller come along 6 ton drag rating.
Maybe we convince chevy to sponsor a trip for us all?!

Is this hose specific to this heating unit? Or is it just the Coleman small bottle propane tread? Looking for something like this for my double burner.

I picked up an electric blanket from Macy’s. I’m running on my yeti 400 and it pulls 197w and hour. But I only need 30 mins right before bed to get it all toasty. Works great. Just don’t forget to turn it off.

Bryan, was it you who I worked with to get everything to fit my truck? I was just down in agoura hills a late october. Im loving the slimline set up and RTT from you all!
Thanks for the info! ya I probably wont end up lifting it past the level I have. I think just stepping up to 33" once I actually need new tires... That trailer is awesome! Did you build that? looks like a military style one.
Ya no much at all! I️ was lucky enough to live close to the Front Runner shop in Cali. I’ve been loving their RTT so far.
Would love that trip idea. Last trip was to Johnson Valley. And next trip is most likely Joshua Tree, or Alabama hillls CA. I️ was to explore some of AZ/NM some time...
Love the rig man! If you ever venture west let me know. Maybe organize a Rado trip?! Ya I’m running the v8 eco boost and found a sweet spot at 77mph getting 22 mpg! These trucks kick ass. I’m 5 months in and just passed 10k miles.
My next steps are larger tires. Think I’m just doing a small...
Awesome truck! Ya the front runner rack might fit? Depends how the sport bar is mounted. If your close to the show room they will probably measure for you and let you know for sure?!
I️ love the Rowher flats area. Camped there a few times.
If you ever want to meet up and grab a coffee and...
