Replacing the rotted out fuel tank skid plate today. Got the old one pulled off yesterday and addressed some chassis rust. New one going in today. Thinking of hitting it with truck bed liner to maybe try to delay the rock chip rust cycle. Any opinions on whether that'll help?

I'm running tires bigger than what will fit in there for a spare so I'm thinking of maybe storing my tool set and other things I don't access often in there. And the way I have this built, if I unclip it from the tie downs it slides toward the front of the vehicle and I can get into that storage...

Finally got to building out a drawer system for my WJ from ideas on here. Still working on a few bits, but it's functional already and I love being able to slide out the stove, make coffee, and slide it back in to pack up.

I fish slow rods too, mostly Orvis Superfine Touch and Superfine Glass. I cast as slow as I talk, and I'm from SC...

If you practice your casting with your eyes closed you'll be able to feel the rod load more easily in the beginning.

Hey guys. New to the nav app world and want to dip my toe in the water. I've always been a paper map guy, learned to do that in the military and have always liked it. But, I think I'd like to add Gaia to my rig even if just out of curiosity. So, what's the starting point for an android tablet...

So, if I wanted a 8" tablet with GPS built in to just run Gaia what's the best bang for the buck? Guessing it's one of the Samsung tablets?

I just got a GSI Coffee Rocket pour over. Weighs 2 ounces, stores in my mug, and tests so far produce a very good cup of coffee.

I've got it good. Only a couple miles from my house to the Green Mountain National Forest. 5 minutes from home I'm on gravel. 15 minutes and I'm in one of my favorite camp sites. Streams and ponds full of trout, hardly ever even see anyone else.

I'm in southwestern Vermont so in the neighborhood.

Man, what a day. replaced rear control arms while I was doing the rear lift. That upper was a bear with everything rusted up. Got it done, but now there's no part of me that doesn't hurt... Finished it up in the dark so maybe seeing it done in the light tomorrow will help shake off the sore muscles.

Got a little jump on the work and managed to get the front lift installed between rain showers today.
