    CQ Prerunner. DE N2BBT How was your field day? FD here in Davie, Fl, our club (Davie Cooper City Armature Radio Club) was very active on 6 to 80m. Phone, Digital, and CW were our modes. Just for grins, we had contacts on D-Star. Where did you overland to?

    That sucks. When I ordered my Dometic from Dometic, It came wrapped and sealed on a palette. Not even a dimple in the cardboard box.

    Yes, insulated covers work. I live in Fl. They are a must. A cheap way out is to use a moving blanket from Harbor Freight.

    Thanks, it is 40" in length, 18" tall and 16" deep. If I was to do this again, I would make it 36"

    Greetings, After 3 weekends the chuck box is done. I wish I had my wood shop and I think I could have done a better job. Borrowed a saw from a buddy. If I had to do it again, I would have chose a different color. But here it is.

    Very efficient with power and holding temp... I have the thermal cover which helps in South Florida. I can run easily 4 days on Bat power before hooking up solar. I will post the mods when I complete the camp kitchen chuck box.
