So I would like to offer my sincerest apologies and admit that I was wrong. Apparently I should never defend anyone or any group ever again, and just get thicker skin and realize I’m not the one being talked about. And I will explain my sudden turn around.
This afternoon, I was leaving to go to...
Another example of wanting to like a post more than once. I also have the illegal light bar. I do have the really loud stereo but the wife controls the volume and it only gets turned up at appropriate times. I like music, everything I own has the ability to be obnoxious loud. It happens when you...
I am not taking offense. When I bought mine it was supposed to be the fastest most powerful side by side out there. I am a motor head. When you go from 26 hp to 85 what’s not to love. Plus it had way more storage space. We set up on an abandoned mine road and had drag races. I ran mine 4 times...
I just read your condemnation and demand for a ban on one of my favorite forms of outdoor recreation. You have no clue how I use my side by side yet demand I should be prohibited from using it. I took this as a personal attach on my way of life. I wrote a huge response full of hate and firing...
I did not see that coming. I didn’t even know the Windsor was an option in the 350s. Everyone I’ve ever been around was a 460 or 7.3. Learn something new everyday. Still watching to see how this build turns out.
I love that body style Ford. That cab design was awesome for comfort. Is yours the 7.3 or 460? Nice looking truck. My wife will disagree but I need a boneyard to dig parts out of. Especially one with scenery like that.
With a 3 inch lift that truck should be more than capable of anything you want to do. I run 35s on stock gearing in my 05 but have a 6 speed and 3.73s. I suggest a gear calculator to figure out which gears would put you where you want to be and see if it is worth it. Going up 2 tire sizes I...
Nevada draw results came in last weekend. I drew a bighorn sheep tag. A muzzleloader deer tag and a late cow elk tag. Just found out how my fall is going to be spent.
Thank you. I honestly did it as a last option. I wanted my truck repainted. I called like 40 different paint shops trying to get my truck sprayed. I wanted it root beer brown metallic. I was willing to pay the ten grand and deliver it stripped and sanded. But I couldn’t get anyone between Reno...
Installed my Carli sway bar. I seriously doubted my sanity spending $700 dollars on a sway bar. First impression after driving it... I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER DODGE WITHOUT IT!!! Night and day difference in the ride. Also mounted my air chuck to the hitch and bent up some brackets for my 12 volt...
Productive day. Sanded and bed lined my camper. Hooked up my diff and fuel tank breathers. Pulled power and air into the bed for the camper shell when it goes back on. Ram the breather hose for the compressor into the bed as well. Clean air and easy to change the filter.
Go out in the hills. Look at your rig with all four tires inflated and say oh crap we have a flat. Fix it. Get kinda “stuck” and see how you would get out. Go a few miles out and send out an “I need help” to an expecting friend and have them come find you. Proof that the inreach works. Practice...
Those old Broncos sure are a labor of love. I have always loved the bronco. I have mixed feelings about the new one though. Keep up the good work. I enjoy seeing these old rigs getting a new chance to roll down the trail. I’m going to look at another 78/79 tomorrow.
Yeah but who wants to stop and get out every time you need a refill. You’re asking your passengers to do a lot of exercising that is just flat out unnecessary. On the other hand I can take 4 buddies plus my 150 quart cooler with many cases of beer and ice, which are sliding beer window...
Im jealous of your plan d. I have always wanted to spend a couple of weeks fly fishing Vancouver island. That is one of my bucket list trips. Sounds amazing.
I really want to like the Tacoma and the rubicon for hunting fishing and camping. They are incredibly capable right off the lot. But no matter how capable they are, they won’t handle what my Cummins will do. Several hundred pound of gear plus food and water. A steel camper shell. Payload for a...
So today I was supposed to bed line the camper shell. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the solar panel mounts done in the same color as the camper shell or if I wanted them black. Ultimately I wanted them painted to match but didn’t know how I wanted to build them. After a trip to the hardware store...
