You need to hurry up and get your member # so you can start your build thread and talk to others about how they have made their TBlazers a good overland vehicle....just saying!
In 2014 they switched to the 11.5 with the E-locker. 2013 was the last year of the 10.5. I went through hell tracking down the correct parts and everything else to re-gear because everyone's catalogs don't show much for the new 11.5 rear end. They switched the pinion bearing size as well when...
Definitely looking forward to your details. My sliders will be going on soon, got to get some days off and get back to the house first. Then hoping to start on my bed rack. By the way super jealous of all the parts you have coming in right now! Cant wait to see how it all comes out.
Just keep tabs on the different groups and us on here as well. We are trying to get the PW owners together more often and in more places. Through the FB group I have learned of several owners near me that I had never seen their trucks. We are out there you just have to look a little! :anguished:
I have thought about the clamp on style but I worry the weight rating is too low for what I want as well as how well the clamp on style will hold up off road.
No I haven't weighed it yet. I have no squat in the rear at this point and still rides and handles beautifully. The 2014+ Power Wagons have the same differentials as the CTD 2500 now so not worried about overloading the axles at all just the springs. As I increase the final running load on the...

Eric,
Great video and absolutely great choice in vehicle!!! I personally have a 2016 Laramie Power Wagon that is slowly getting the overland treatment. There are a few of us that have chosen this wonderful beast as our overland vehicle of choice...
I run this same setup in my Power wagon. I added a second 2.5gal tank and yes you can run air tools and airing up 37's is a breeze. I built a frame to hold both tanks and the compressor across the front of my bed. I currently have a dedicated 35' "air up" hose with the locking air chuck. I also...
I know and like I said that still leaves me with drilling holes in my roof no matter the rack I choose. The one thing I know for sure is I do appreciate the advice and recommendations I have received from everyone here.

ADD offers several sizes of stand alone racks as well at $900 but again at this point everything is drill, drill, drill. And to do a full chase rack just for the matching roof rack...no way too much $$$! I like them but their racks just won't work with my build plans either.

I love the ADD stuff! I have the HoneyBadger rear bumper and all of my Rigid Lighting has come from them. I got a chance to tour their shop back when they were much smaller 2012 if I remember right. I have been a loyal ADD fan since. Here is my ADD rear bumper.
Looks great, I did the same on my rig. Really helps if I am having to do something at night whether it be inspecting the under carriage or working on something. And on the rare occasion I find myself on a trail I need a spotter after dark then they can see where they are guiding my wheels. I...
As I previously said I have experience with the Bilstein adjustable 5100's and have zero complaints. I know Carli Suspension is now offering a Fox Shocks (2" lift front and 1/4" lift rear) and a Kings strut/shocks kit (2" lift front, 1/2" lift rear) both kits include front and rear springs...

I've been looking at the ETrailer site and there is a lot of stuff I like. Not totally positive if I want permanent or not yet for the roof. I am building a custom bed rack but also wanted to utilize the large roof area over the cab. The Smittybuilt basket is pretty nice as well and I have...
I appreciate the info. I like the Front Runner stuff just not too sure about drilling into the roof. I used to do it when I worked in the dealerships installing racks and such for customers and it always made me cringe drilling a hole in a perfectly good roof...lol
