Hey guys, I posted a radio services guide and baofeng config file in the comms forum. I know @mmnorthdirections had some trouble with his radio, and @Reconnoiter asked about CHIRP... someone else asked to talk about radio on night 1 but we never got the chance... it might have been @dghcruising...

Hi guys, I know a lot of you may have (or be interested in picking up) a Baofeng handheld radio such as the UV-5R for cheap effective/quality FM voice communications, but may not totally understand what they're capable of, the radio services they can support, or how to properly configure them...

Lol... sorry for wrecking that on the radio! As soon as I hung up the mic, Amanda goes "ya know I think he was just trying to keep people positive about the drive to camp." Oops... It didn't even occur to me. Sorry @Narbob! :tearsofjoy:

Haha good call @Reconnoiter, I probably spent 4 hours yesterday trying to get the interior clean. Still haven't washed the exterior yet since I'm still hoping to go check out Cerro Gordo and Manzanar sometime this week before we have to relocate to San Diego area for her flight.

Oh, and I just placed orders for my OB membership, and a set of rock sliders ;-).
