Really does come down to rig and what you intend to do with it but good idea on the list. For me (over two H3s) my first was tires, went from the stock 33" Dualers to 33" KOs then when I got the Alpha 35" BFG KM2s. The next upgrades were to the optional OEM UCP (under carriage protection) and...
Thanks for the pics. I did see your build thread before, nice work. I already have a drawer system I built but looking to do a drop slide for my fridge.
I posted this in another thread but anybody have drawings/plans for a fridge drop slide? I want/need to get one but the prices are hard get over and most won't fit in the space I need, too long.
I know it's terrible isn't it. We are only supposed to get to the mid 50s tomorrow and won't be back into the 70s for a couple of days :astonished::grinning:
There are plenty of wide trails and forest roads to cruise around so you can spend the day out there without the trail rash. Definitely don't blame you on wanting to keep the paint as nice as possible.
I don't have any experience with the destination AT or MT so not sure what mileage you can expect out of them but I got 50K out of my first set of BFG KM2s. I thought that was pretty good for an MT and they still probably had 10K worth of tread life left. If the destination will get you anything...
You have some good plans on your list of things to do. There are a lot of trails out in the Ocala forest. Most of the real fun areas have been closed down but you will find a lot enough to fill a weekend of relaxing trail rides. One thing to be aware of is a lot of trails are pretty narrow and...
I used a Dual bluetooth antenna tethered to my iPad for several years and it worked great. Unfortunately I believe it's on a trail somewhere in Northern GA now. I am now using my iPad Mini with built in GPS and it has worked great, don't recall ever losing it's location apart from say going...
@roamingtimber Your right about just not being attached to the house. There have been countless times when everyone else is asleep for the night that I would have loved to go out and work on a project but would have been too much noise.
I did read a review of my welder where the guy bought a different brand wire. Tried it and did see a nice difference in my welds as well. You and me both on the shop. My Scout takes up half my garage so most of the time I am working in my driveway. Spend half my time getting everything out and...
That's one of my problems as well. I couldn't believe how much better my welds looked using his. He said most everything I did would pass certification. He has his eyes on a MIG/TIG/Plasma cutter combo unit that would be very cool to have.
