Guess Jackery and other portable power storage options sales will go up! :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: I feel like as an off road vehicle it just isn't there. Even with all the advances and businesses putting in charging stations it just doesn't seem feasible to use as an overlanding...
OMG!! I soooo want one of those rigs!!! That's one of my dream rig builds. Those and while i'm on the dream part, a G-Wagon would be another awesome build!
I get what your saying and I do agree with that...to an extent. It is hard to really say whos right and whos wrong but there are those defining times when I feel it is a pretty clear as to the wrong doing or general lack of concern for things. But it will vary from person to person. I think...
Just wondering some of yalls views on something. When you see someone post pics that obviously is showing miss use of land and trails, do you comment or keep quite? Everyone is trying to get that perfect or awesome shot for social media. I get taking pictures and recording your adventures but...
Has anyone nailed anymore of this meet up down? ONF is about 3.5 hours from me (i'm in Savannah). Never been there so wouldn't mind checking it out and meeting new folks in the process.
Balance is the key it seems. For some anyway. Thats really what I want is a decent balance. Im willing to trade mileage for traction though, to an extent. I'd say the main thing I don't want to lose is safety due to the tires. If that makes sense.
I'm pretty much on the same page as you. My truck sees more hwy due to being my daily but not a heap. Also being a XD with the cummins it has a bit more weight then the standard 1/2 ton. I have no plans of rock crawling or deep mud but I do want to get to some of those sweet out of the way...
@MrWilsonWJ That is my type of answer! Thank you!!I do agree that it will vary depending upon the application and also what kind of tire someone has used in the past or what brand they favor.
Now this isn't a what brand tire should I run post. I want to know y'alls thoughts on which tire is better. A R/T(hybrid mix), an A/T(general all terrain) or a M/T( standard mud terrain) Now there will be folks that need a specific tire due to doing certain types of off roading, (rock crawling...
grubworm it definitely had me confused :tearsofjoy: . But I did find a tire size calculator and played around with the numbers and that does effect the height! Now if I could just find a 285/70/20 in a tire I like. Or a 35x10.5x20. The only couple that I have come across are in the higher...
Well this may not work anyway. Was a great deal but now I see there are some spacing issues between my tire and my UCA. ugh!! If I go with anything other then the size currently on my truck I will have to figure out this spacing issue.
Found some of these for a pretty good price. Wondering if anyone has had some decent real world usage with them. I don't like going off the website reviews. I tried searching the forum but didn't come up with anything. I'm sure I probably missed the thread somewhere lol! I don't mud bog or rock...
I myself love playing sports and various other activities. Am I an athlete....nah. I do however try to stay healthy and in shape. Before getting into overlanding I liked to hike and backpack. Now I still like to do those things but I can do it from other places I couldn't before, cause I can...
