Thanks for reminding me about my dumbest moment of that trip. I was trying to just re-spool my line, but I ended up pulling that boulder down towards my FJ.

I'm Bay Area as well (we were also at Mojave), always interested in quick trips within the region.

I've had good luck at Bowman and ice house, but check road conditions first. There are several fun lakes to stop at on the way up to Bowman from 80, you don't need to drive all the way. Close to sac my friends in Folsom do day trips there. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

If you hunt around there's a mod some of us have done to allow opening the rear door from the inside. Unfortunately it doesn't make sleeping inside any more comfortable. I'll sleep on the ground before I try that again... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
