Finish up my lower front skid plate and mount last night just in time. Going to mount it today and get packed up for a little camping in Halsey national forest tomorrow
Drilled a whole cleaned it up and bolted it down. Fits quite well. Had to modify one of the mounting tabs to a different angle other than that it bolted in
I am always ready to get out and camp, explore or fish. And with four daughters I am big on recycling. So I often pick up things from other truck brands. Topper is off of a 07 Chevy 6.5 box and fits great! And super light weight. Sealed all opening in it and the bed so it has been water tight so...
Will be nice to have everything up front ready to go instead of digging around in the back for stuff I need to air up or down, or having the soft shackles and other recovery gear in one place
Working on the rear as well. The front is getting closer. Sides of the front are 3/16 aluminum that will be storage boxes to hold recovery gear and air tools
Winch mount is complete and bolted in place. Made one of two skid plates today. Propped it up so you guy can get an idea of where I am going with it. After it is mounted I will complete my rear bumper and then go back to the front bumper and finish the aluminum sides
A little more progress today. Welded up the cross support on the top and the middle section. The brace will run up to winch mount and down to the center support. The skid plate will bolt onto these sections
