Did a three day overland trip through through Stanislaus and El Dorado National Forests with two other rigs. We ran 63 miles of remote forest roads in two days. I spent the last day solo. Made a video for each day in the field. Here are all three videos documenting the trip. Day 1: Slick Rock...

I did. We went from Slickrock at Hwy4 all the way over to Hwy88 via forest roads. Over 60 miles of dirt. Stopped to check out the view from atop the Calaveras Dome.

We didn’t bother since the Loope Canyon Rd is closed indefinitely from storm damage. Didn’t want to drive all the way into NV just to get in from the north.

We ended up going from Slickrock all the way over the mountain to north of Hwy88. 60 miles of forest roads. Chainsaw was required in a couple spots. Stopped at Calaveras Dome to check out the incredible view. It was awesome. Video later on my YouTube channel (SGT 12XU).

We have a fellow OB member that camped there yesterday. Will get the scoop from him. Looked to be all open from his FB posts.

I think an easier way would be to bend the tabs more toward vertical. So far after hits from a few branches, the cables deflect a bit but not enough to cause issues. The branches tend to take the path of least resistance, which is sliding upward.

Destroy it if you don't want it or repurpose it. In principle, it should be non-transferable brother. That number should be yours for life. Surely you had some good trips right? Keep it as a reminder.

I can't make the show trip due to work, but want to buy a CFX-50 now. Any coupon codes or anything for those of us who can't make it out there?
