    Portable Fire Pits?

I've been wracking my brain for an inexpensive and somewhat portable fire pit idea. I've been using a galvanized steel tub for a LONG time (the zinc galv will burn off after the first use, and if you do breathe it in, it gives you a headache, but no permanent damage). The issue is that it...

Condiments.. How and what do you pack?

You should try a small screw top jar of an oil that is in a solid state at room temps. Something like Coconut Oil would work well, plus it is pretty healthy AND it won't go rancid when stored for long periods of time. I've had a large jar of it in my pantry for almost two years. You could also...

What do you use to store all your gear?

I have a few of those and they have held up to rain just fine in the bed of my PU.

    LED Pods - Battery Powered

I have three of these and they are awesome. Not a whole lot of light for pitching a tent (when mounted on vehicle), but great for tasks like cooking, hanging out, getting changed etc. I've never had one run out on me either.

DIY AWNING for $90 (ARB style awning) 9' x 9'

Oh.. GO EAGLES!!! I've been an avid fan since I was young (Ron Jaworski days), and I have to say... With QB's like Cunningham, Mc Nabb and Vic (and now Wentz) if you had told me that Nick Foles was gonna be the one to finally bring it home for us, I would have said you were nuts!! I...

DIY AWNING for $90 (ARB style awning) 9' x 9'

Your Hoagie looks good, but as I'm sure you are aware the meat is a bit thick for a true cheese-steak (I grew up on the PA/DE state line so I know my way around a good "steak"). Since you are from Fontucky, I'll let you in on a little secret... Go to a 99 Ranch or other asian grocery. They...

What is your must cook meal or must have food for camping.

I s I second the Tri-Tip idea. I usually cut them up into 1.5-2in cubes and then toss them w/ soy and Montreal seasoning. Throw them on some skewers and you are good to go! Although I'm originally an East Coast'r, it amazes me that you cant find this cut on the east coast. When I went...
