I hope you guys know that Sherman Pass is closed... not sure exactly where, but I would be sure to check. I was up there in August and there were signs all over the place.

    WolfWise Shower Tent

Although they all fold the same way, some fold easier than others. I got one that was a PITA to fold so I returned it and got a wolfwise. It’s way easier to fold up. I think it’s bc the support hoops are thinner metal.

DIY Power Station Wiring - Help Needed

Thanks. I’ll try charging it in short bursts like my morning commute and feel it occasionally. I do have a volt meter on the pack. At what voltage should I consider it pretty much full? Even if it’s only really at 75%-80% that’s fine. It would still last me a few nights.

    Ham Radio License Experience

Passed my Technician HAM test this week!! It was super easy with just a bit of studying. First I read a HAM book by Gordon West and attended a "class" given by the local HAM chapter. When I had the basics down, I just went through the entire question pool 2 times...

DIY Power Station Wiring - Help Needed

Actually, I haven't tried it. Won't the battery kinda self regulate? My (uneducated) theory was that the cig lighter will only apply a max voltage of about 13-14V (what comes out of the alternator/main battery), and when the power pack batteries are charged up to that voltage, they will no...

2018 Toyota Tundra Double Cab build

Awesome setup! I too am a mountain biker with an 18 tundra. Used to go up to Northstar 5-6 times a year... plus D-ville etc. I’m down in SoCal now though. We do occasional shuttles, so the cap/drawers are out of the question, but if it were just me and the wife, your setup would be perfect!

    2018 Chevy Colorado Z71

Great thread guys. I picked up a tundra recent bc with three soon to be teens, I needed the space and I’m a Toyota guy. I also swore off GM after owning a few Chevy blazers... but these new Colorado’s are really nice. The factory lockers are also a huge plus! Enjoy your trucks and maybe...

Buying a Toyota Tundra! Please help!

I had an ‘04 crew 14 years (215k) and I think that was the perfect size cab to bed ratio. Just got an 18 crew and the three kids love the extra space but I do miss the bed space. Before I just chucked everything in separate. Now I have to use some large military boxes so I can go above bed...
