Mobtown off road makes a pretty sweet front recovery bar, with both shackle mounts and a hitch receiver

I am not sure about factory mounts on 3rd Gen tho
I may be down for this.. I'll be down in Yosemite the week before Memorial.. but this would be fun to add into the drive home (to Washington)
What day would this be starting, Saturday 5/26?
Looks like a solid trip, That's a lot of driving! I would recommend start planning your Yosemite basecamp ASAP. It's a popular destination in the springtime when the waterfalls are raging
There are some campgrounds on the NW side of diamond lake. I stayed there last summer when we climbed Mt. Thielsen. I found it to be a good base camp, as its only 20 minutes North of Crater and right on the edge of Umpqua. We also camped along a couple FS roads in Umpqua
Welcome! There is a cool vw van shop in Renton Highlands called northwesty... You should check it out, they hook up vanagons and have a lot of cool build ideas!

I usually end up with both on board... But more bags than cans.
But also.. I usually only break out the grill for dinner. The rest is backpacking meals with a jet boil, and cold cuts from the cooler

VASQUE boots, I've got a couple different pairs. They work well with wide feet.
90% of the time I've got socks and sandals on though

Hot coffee - I use a French press or Aero press. But this summer I've just been drinking cold brew. I usually throw a growler full in the cooler, and it'll last me for days

Built out a cool drawer system in the back of the rig earlier this month. Took a week 7 day trip through Oregon last week, and this system was clutch
The whole top portion pulls out on drawer slides, and gives easier access to the two drawers and gear stored up top
