    01 Subaru forester build

So I got new shoes, a face lift, a cool hat, and new contacts. Also, the lower lift brackets were more work than I wanted to put in so I bought them from ADF. They have worked well. No pics of the new headlights but they're LEDs because I got sick of replacing pigtails. Also built the awning...

DIY AWNING for $90 (ARB style awning) 9' x 9'

No worries. It has done fairly good. There was one incident where one of the smaller conduits was bowed due to snow accumulating on the whole thing and strong winds from a blizzard I was in. In retrospect, I should have just packed it up, and also not had my legs be so high so the snow could run...

DIY AWNING for $90 (ARB style awning) 9' x 9'

Love this post through and through. Great idea! I made a couple of tweaks to mine because my car is not as long. I used an 8'6"x 11'6" tarp 1. On the car side i used the same 3/4" conduit and then used half of a 3/4" conduit to make the folding arms. On that conduit, I placed a 3/4" coupler...

Thats a sick car! It looks sooo good. I hope mine gets to look somewhat like that. I like the pod lights on top more than the light bars though. The grill guard has light mounts on it, so i think i will mount mine there when it comes time. Also the ditch lights look awesome. I will definitely go...

    01 Subaru forester build

Got a grill guard for a price i couldnt pass up so im probably going to build a bumper for this guy down the road. I woll try and make the brackets bolt on to the frame (like most) and then have the bracket bolt on to the bumper sp it can be a bit more universal. :$37 Got my roof rack and...

    Blood Clotter

This is good to know. My only experience with Arista is all of the general surgeons and OB/GYNs sprinkle it on top of areas where they have had to extensively cauterize or work on and dont want to take the risk of rebleeding. From the sounds of it, sometimes it's for peace of mind of the doc...

    Blood Clotter

I havent looked into those natural alternatives. My main hesitation with cyanne pepper would be the capsaicin. Maybe im just a whimp. I would still urge anyone making a homemade kit to properly sterilize it if they can. It just depends on how far you are from the hospital, but something the...

    Blood Clotter

http://traumamon.com/en/articles/19364.html Here's the article on ferric sulfate and chloride that i was going to read. A table in there caught my eye about its hemostatic properties, but the real reason I placed it on my reading list was to read the pro's and con's in the discussion section...

    Blood Clotter

If you havent made your clotter yet, i would suggest not going with Cyanne pepper as it will probably have capsacin in it and you will likely prefer the GSW to it. Also, we should all be critical when it comes to "characteristics" of marketed goods. If you find claims, see if there is science...

    01 Subaru forester build

Thanks for the advice! Here is a picture for those who are interested. So, i was either going to go put a bunch of work into the lift i had already tried to make, or just cave and buy the $500. While browsing through ADFs website, i realized he had another product on there that may solve both...

    01 Subaru forester build

Sad night. Just found out i cant run the BFG tires everyone is recommending due to the spring perch on the rear of my car. My two options are going with the yokohoma geolanders that a lot of subaru owners still like, or get some different struts from the 03-05 foresters and putting my springs...
