Selling my raptor offgrid voyager overland roof top tent. It works great, super easy to set up and take down, but deciding to just go with a camper (per the wife). So this has not been slept in at all just mounted to my rig and opened up once, took the pictures and am posting. It has a lower...
That was one of my main concerns was condensation due to the fact it’s a single wall tent. I actually talked with a guy at gazelle for a significant time and was one if the questions I asked. Condensation mitigation is always a battle in tent camping in the south east.
Lol I got him squared away with the sizes man it’s all good. He may have and was confused as he stated due to the T4 plus is actually shorter packed down. No worries.
We have a queen for the girls. I just use one of my backpacking mats. Sadly my dumb a** has never thought about getting another...
We currently use a REI hobbitat 6 with vestibule and it works. Would like the easy of setting up of the gazelle though.
What is the sleeping arrangement? Cots? Mattress?
I had planned on ordering the T4 plus this week but had something come up and was not able to. But soon. I also have a wife and two kids in tow so the bigger T4 is the one I’m going with.
T4 PLUS IS 7'-10" X 14-'0" FLOOR PLAN AND 6'-6" TALL, COLLAPSED 11" X 11" X 5'-3"
T4 IS 7'-10" X 7'-10" FLOOR PLAN AND 6'-6" TALL, COLLAPSED 8" X 8" X 5'-8"
Hey guys. Came across this deal located in Charlotte area, NC.
Guy bought a 2006 LR3 and had a buyer for it then he backed out, so the dude is trying to recoup some of his coin. So he is parting this thing out and really willing to make some good deals on part because he will scrape the whole...
Its all good man. No worries. I though that was what you were referring to but i kinda read it a bit different. So you just use it like this then throw it on a batt charger to charge it up, will a 12v outlet charge one while you are driving in between camp sites for example?
I will eventually...
I’ve been doing this for the better part of 15 years too. I’m not really a layman at the wheeling/overland. More to solar and electricity. LoL I’ve also been using fire and ice. It now I’m in a bigger rig, past was all wrangler, and looking to upgrade to some more creature comforts so I can...
I just measured my D3 with second row seat down. It’s a bit over 6’ so I should be good there especially with theT4 plus. Once I load in the fridge and drawer system I’m working on that will be a no go.
Well once I get it I’ll see what I can’t come up with and maybe post something on here about. I was even thinking maybe trying to find a plastic golf travel case and try doing something like that. Or big PVC tubing if they make it that big.
I was mainly referring to Wahooweds' reference of the inverter and deep cell battery from wally world for an inexpensive start and less complicated. I'm in a 2006 Land Rover LR3 and those things are pre-Madonnas when it comes to power. If there is a draw it does not like it will freak out. But...
Yea I agree, that's what I like about the T4 plus. The front room can go from screened in porch to walls too. Then you also have a dedicated sleeping quarter. My only concern is stowing it. I'm thinking on the roof, with spray on waterproofing and seam seal. Or possible a tyvak make shift bag...
What I like about the T4 plus is the long side skirts. So ultimately you could remove the floors and us it as a floor less tent and even install a stove jack and actually have a wood stove in this. With no floor draft like most other tent. Just thinking outside the box! Or inside the tent.
