    Anyone use a ShiftPod?

Ok nice product demo. For me if the wind gets anywhere near 75mph or more I' m out of my tent and into my vehicle. That's hurricane winds and I have no business being in a tent at that point personally. These tents are too bulky and weigh too much for me to be very far from my vehicle in what...

    Gerber StrongArm fixed blade

" I ain't mad at ya. Made in USA is a big bonus. My current fav is my Esee 5, 11" overall with a 5.25" long blade. The blade is 1/4" thick btw. She's a beast!

    Overland Bound Rally Southeast 2019!

How come on other posts I see when people need some help from Admins they always seem to magically show up and say "@Michael or @Corrie" and then something seems to happen. This thread was started by "@Corrie" and yet there has been no follow up. I myself am more than excited that there may...

    Anyone use a ShiftPod?

Looks to be almost three times the price and smaller than a T4. I saw them at Expo east last fall. Looks almost identical to a Gazelle in construction but with a different fabric.

    Gazelle Tent

I had mine setup at Expo east last year. It rained for two days straight. No leaks, all was good. So nice to be able to stand up completely. I am 6'1" tall and have headroom to spare. It is a bit bulky in the bag but the setup, take down and price more than make up for that if you ask me.

    Don’t do like I did!

I am so guilty of this. I've already cancelled 2 or 3 trips because I felt my vehicle was not prepared enough. In reality I should have gone anyway. I'm getting better though...

    Ordered my Flexopower Lithium444

Flexopower themselves makes flexible solar panels. Very durable as well. Check this out.

    Ordered my Flexopower Lithium444

Is this because the LiPo can be discharged to 20% as opposed to the AGM only being able to be discharged to 50%?

    propane tanks

Those are nice and all but $240 a piece? That's close to $500 for a pair. Wow, and I thought my Viking composite 8lb tank was expensive.

    propane tanks

I've heard that as well but I can't seem to find out why everybody says that. Lifestyle Overland went all the way to Alaska and back with their tank on its side the entire time it was up on the roof rack. That's several thousand miles. I asked them if they had any issues and they said none...

    Fire extinguisher

Just remember that you will only get about one second of use per pound of extinguisher. So a 2.5 pound will only last about 2.5 seconds, 5lb--5 seconds and so on. As stated above the P.A.S.S. technique is the one to use. Pull the pin, Aim at the base of the fire, Squeeze the handle and Sweep...
