Anyone going to The Rooftop Tent Rally at James River State Park? I have not seen much information on this in the forums, and it’s not posted on the website calendar.
...totes of water/fuel and make sure i have plenty of solar and battery since we wont have any hook ups. for remote camping we'll take a shower tent and a portable loo since we dont have the trailer.
i find that there are two main things that i really need to address for ANY trip to be a...
Hello
I’ve used Exposed Racks on my Jeep; & I love them! The Click-in system makes setting up and removing the tent super easy, and I appreciate that they don’t require drilling. They’re very versatile for switching between a roof-top tent and a soft top. Highly recommend them if you want a...
...a ProTops camper shell for now and laid in DECKED to make for a bed platform, so that I can travel with my large dog who can't get into a topper tent. Currently working on a Goose 40% 2nd row seat delete. The truck is a bit heavy and long but extremely comfortable. Living accommodations are...

Also this week we will be at Expo in Arrington. We are staying offsite this time. The week of the 17th we will be back in the same area for the Rooftop Tent Rally at James River State Park.
You're already up in the breeze so limit the cold air coming under the tent. Make a sham like on your bed that goes around the bottom of the bed.
Then get a good sleeping bag. Not from Walmart.
North Face or better.
Remember there are folks sleeping at 25.000 ft right now on Everest. Dig deep.
