Should be a great rig, I remember reading all your old posts on the planet, when I had acouple first gens. If you need any pointers on the Tera lows/revo install let me know. Me and my pal Lorenzo installed the set in my Amigo, it was a learning experience for both of us. If you need any...

Zulander, your website looks top notch. I need to get a site like that for my own travels. As it stands right now all I have is my IG account and our webstore here:

For all your 2nd Gen Isuzu Rodeo/Amigo Needs..
Keep up the great content,

To add to this, now that more and more people are "overland" wanting. It that I think that folks that end up modding their vehicle and then either loaning them out or selling them should do their very best to inform the person who is going to be operating the vehicle of any changes. I have a...
@soarvet
We will do our best, Should be a fairly simple trek, I've been up and down these trails quite a few times but you never know what can change in acouple months. I grew up in Buford so maybe next time im up that way I'll give you a shout.
Eric
I use to go with all the other Isuzu owner up that way. Now its usually later in November and I cant ever make it up that way. The forest is great this time of year.
I have 2 little ones myself, 2 boys, one is 4 and the other 2. They would live outside if my wife would allow it. We've been camping several times, and we go on "Adventure naps" in my Trooper. We start driving down dirt roads and usually stop at any interesting locations. We made a game on...
This is also another good reason to make sure on your pre-off Hwy checklist is tell someone where you are going in the event you get stuck or hurt. BTW, If your ever up this way again, you can give me a call if you get stuck on a road like that.
Looks like you have a great build going. Good luck on your headbolt shenanigans, they are a pain to get out without breaking like that. Wish you the best of luck. I'm with @Chris Jones all my Zus burn/consume oil, not leak.
The plan is to travel to several of North Georgia's Overland/Off-road destinations with varying levels of challenging terrain. We won't just be out "trail blazing", please bring a trash bag with you as we will do trail clean up as we go along. Any participant that fills a trash bag will receive...
Yes, that is correct. Everything else is the same up front. I have several "write ups" on replacing he front 3rd member on the other forum. Its a fair amount of wrenching, takes me about 3 hrs to get it all out and back in. And I've one it 3 times.
Thanks, and as for the question, No indy4x sells 3rd members but they you would need to swap the entire rear axle with an earlier style one. And if you call some junkyards or pul yards they are readily available from earlier model troopers and they will come with 4.56s installed and some of...
I dont think the 3rd members swap, I think it modified 12 may be slightly bigger. So you have to swap the entire axle.
I did find this thread on the PlanetIsuzoo forum you may want to read through. The guy did 35's on a trooper: http://www.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=17842
I 'm in GA so snow isnt much of an issue, but we get alot of ice in the winter. I had a LSD in my rig, it was the Dana Trac-loc in the D44, It wasnt a very strong LSD but it was indifferent in ice/snow vs dry driving. I now have a Powertrax no-slip locker in the rear, and its drivable in the...
Rorschach (cool name BTW),
Heres the parts i'm looking for to see if they are obtainable. They were used in several overseas Isuzu (pickups) in austrailia/thailand/ maybe south america
Isuzu part#s
8980135931 (alternative "old" part# 8972204001 ) - 41/8 final drive gear set
8973588240 -...
So this has been discussed in detail on the PlanetIsuzoo forums, I'll see if i can find the write up. Its because you have the "modified 12-bolt" vs the "normal 12-bolt".
Anyway, You can swap out the entire rear axle from the 94-97 Trooper and it will mount the same, use your oem links and...
