Looks like everyone has been out enjoying lately. I am still wanting to hit BE again but all my time has been exploring and hiking Elk, Moshannon, and Susquehannock state forests . Some of those forest roads may as well have been off road trails due to how muddy and rutted they were, especially...

That's unfortunate but luckily we are still able to use the state forests for hiking and fishing and other outdoor activities. Other states have closed roads, trail heads and general access to their state and national forest and parks.

There were 2 that I passed along the way. I did not explore very much we were there for 2 hikeing trails which were near each other. Not sure about any derivable trails as we did not see any. Michaux is a great SF but no derivable trails but plenty of hiking and mountain biking with dispersed...

The less er known places were vacant of people. The week before I went to pulpit rock on the AT and there must have been 100 people there and people gathered on their lawn chairs in the parking lot. They apparently don't care or are too stupid to realize the consequences. I get the hiking...

The Lehigh river for kayaking at the Pa 33 boat ramp is a good location which will almost make you think you are 4 wheeling in order to get there. Think dirt road with lots of pot holes. We also like bike riding the Lehigh canal from the Delaware all the way through Jim Thorpe. The Lehigh gorge...

Caustis You will love the Lehigh Valley. We had moved from there about a year ago due to my job but my wife still works there. We still visit there in our off time to ride bikes and kayak and of coarse hike.

Made it out yesterday to Bald Eagle for a short trip. What a beautiful place. Very different from Michaux which is our home stomping grounds. Can't wait to go there again to explore more.

    Rig Photos

Love looking at everyone's RIG. We have 2 that we use and always have a tough time deciding which one to use. I am currently building and outfitting the 4Runner but the wife likes taking the Tundra out. Problem is the Tundra is big for the East Coast which is why I'm starting with the 4 Runner...

Glad to see others in the Pa area. We were just up in the Sproul, Susquehanock and Tioga area scouting last weekend for the first time and loved it. The wife is already asking to take another adventure this weekend. Area of interest - Love being out in the state and national forests. Anything...
