I have a TT Skottle and love it. But I can't help feeling like there's cheaper alternatives for those more frugal. Anyway, I found this cast iron disc on amazon and it looks like it may be even more versatile than the TT. Has anyone used this or something similar? I get compliments on my skottle...
i had a burlap sack with a grommet that worked until it fell apart. i like the size of my trasharoo. if that's too big for you, check out spiderwebshades trail trash bag.
hi slomatt, sorry, I can't say that I have if i didn't use it when i installed it. but the good news is that I have two new odyssey batteries en route and you're welcome to any spacers that come with them.
Hi All,
I ordered this battery in August 2017 and installed it in my Jeep JKU in March 2018 when I installed my winch. I've since added a fridge and lights so i'm transitioning to a genesis dual battery setup that calls for the 34 non reverse polarity batteries. This was $300 online and has a...
i mounted cameras on my bumper and on my rear pumpkin to avoid the dreaded high center. but mine are wired to my alpine i209, so no latency. just wish they could make the diff seeking rocks disappear.

you can find them occasionally much cheaper. i bought the larger one (red/black) at the last REI garage sale for $80 and the smaller one (green/black) for my wife at Sportsbasement for $59.
i wonder of a little strip of 3m dual lock would work to secure the legs. really, just need the adhesive to hold the weight of the legs when you move. should hold on the box/plastic side, but may need a staple or two on the wood side.
just checking in from the bay area. rock crawler attempting to turn it down a notch so that I can include my family in my off road adventures. it would be nice to get out and not be overly concerned with extensive rock damage for a change
thanks landlubber - this is the amazon purchase. definitely compressor type. i need to keep telling myself there's an easier return process and i'm getting a non-damaged unit so i don't feel bad for spending the extra coin over the ebay items :smirk:
Costway 54qt on Amazon
i bought one off of amazon the other day and almost regretted not looking at ebay now. completed items show them selling for $167.50 to $495. All the ones sold under $295 are by sellers with 0 or negative feedback. I hope you all got yours. Bad ebay sales send my blood pressure through the roof.
Hi Chris,
I might be interested in taking this off your hands. I'm local, so no shipping required. What's included with the fridge? I'm new on here and just figuring out how to outfit my rig. If you don't mind hitting me up via email, i'm not sure I would get notification on responses here...
