congrats on the Grandson. We had our own bundle of joy born in Aug 2018. he's our first! We're on the steep learning curve now.
thanks for the follow too, I hope I don't lead you down the wrong path
Passengers side eh. Just remind me what the significance of The Mayflower is, if you will.
There are only 2 sides of the vehicle to drive from. The Right side and the Wrong side. Ha ha ha
I have three which I carry on my roof in the dedicated Hannibal cover. They're sturdy, stackable and worth the money I spent on them. I will agree that their waterproofness is poor.
Just a quickie to tag onto your comment, training alone doesn't guarantee safety. From experience (not my own), one of the biggest causes of injury is complacency.
My mileage is terrible anyway. The Land Rover Defender doesn't do good mileage unless it's on a trailer. I haven't noticed any difference at all. I only use them when we're going away anywhere.
That probably doesn't really help you.
Did you see the photos on the first page of this thread?
I see you have been ignored twice now. I'll respond with my comments. I use the Hannibal Wolf Boxes and associated cover (see the first page for photos). I don't experience anymore wind noise than driving without them. I will say that aerodynamics are reduced even further when they are...
Other than kitting up the 90 exactly how I want it, I'd be purchasing a Conqueror UEV 490 from Oz. They look awesome.
If Conqueror are looking for someone in the UK to test drive their UEV 490 I'm prepared to nominate myself for that task

My gear has to be stored in the house as we're not blessed with the warmest of weather. My tent for example is canvas and being in the UK our prices are ridiculously high for everything so it has a nice warm spot to hibernate between outings
Ultimately I would like a weatherproof garage...
I'd be up for this except that I don't have enough holiday to take that amount of time off. My New Year resolution is to win the lottery jackpot. When I do I'll be driving everywhere.
This looks like a venue for a potential gathering however my lovely employers are a little frugal when it comes to holidays.
I am hoping however to make a trip early next year to the Lake District so I hope to touch base with one or more OB members.
Wrt the buy / sell page, I think I've browsed it briefly but I figured it was predominantly stateside and haven't looked since.
It might work but what about those buyers who always try it on and say they never received their item whilst enjoying it at the same time? That's why I tend to stick...
I'm more interested in the travelling aspect rather than offloading. Unfortunately my pride and joy isn't fully equipped to the level I'd like. Who knows, with Christmas approaching my fellow OB family might get me what I need. Such thoughtful chaps. Thanks everyone. Ha ha ha
I wouldn't count on it. I retired after 23 years in the Royal Navy and I'm not entitled despite my current employment status. On the other hand I'm not in the US either.
I was out and about today and saw this........ I'd love to get my hands on it....
If only I had a promotional OB flyer or two to hand out in such scenario. We could do with a Director (nee Ambassador).
