Installed my JW Speaker taillights. Been putting off on ordering them for awhile ever since I got my headlights and fogs. Finally! Happy early Birthday to me.
JW Speaker taillights. Just installed them. Planning to eventually get a gobi rack, but sometimes I feel the need to buy more little things and accessories and keep taking from my jeep fund for the gobi rack. [emoji31]
Thanks, yeah it's been hard locating an original in decent shape, I know they sell kits to build it, but no fun in that, but I'll still end up ordering pieces from jeep parts to restore it.
Just got a M416 trailer in decent shape. The start of my trailer build. Since I'm still in Georgia for training I'll have TK wait until I get back home to TX in a couple of weeks to actually start the process. In the mean time I will be researching more and more on how I want to go about this...
I tend to pack the same way, just a habit from military experience, packing sets of clothing and compressing them in zip lock bags then organizing them into a wet weather bag while having 1-2 sets readily available in side pouches of he main bag (i.e. Ruck sack), I put my wet weather gear in one...
Another San Antonian checking in. Thought I did back when I first joined but I guess it never went through.
Currently in Ft Benning, GA atm, but should be back at the beginning or may.
My 2015 JKUR is a manual, I chose to have 6sp bc I've always drove manual except 1 of my past cars but I wish it was manual.
Try asking friends who might own either type of rig to take you out and let you drive. From there you can make a better decision on which trans to go with.
Installed a BOLT cable lock to secure my spare tire, just an added deterrent since there's been a lot of jeepers reporting their spares were stolen this past week
And I won a raffle for a Smittybilt tailgate cover.
Installed a heavy duty spring and quick disco for my CB antenna
BOLT hood lock and hitch receiver lock
13" antenna
Grab bars for the short ppl to climb in
Sorry for the late response, just saw this. Main box is mounted behind and under the glove box, power was tapped into the cigarette lighter plug behind the dash using a pre wired plug and play pigtail.
Installed my CB, yesterday weather sucked and made it harder to install with the hard top on. Still need to tune it, so I'll most likely do that tonight after work.
