I went last year as my first event of this kind in many years. Had a great time even if Saturday’s weather wasn’t optimal. I’ll be there this year. Have been looking forward to it all summer.
Howdy fellers. To clarify, if I am able to get away, I will only be able to do the portion from Palisades/Douglas Creek junction to Highway 97 at the Beebe bridge. Mom is feeling fine so far this week but her daytime caregiver is out for a day or two with illness. I should absolutely know by...
Not likely I can do the whole weekend but may be able to do the Douglas Creek to Beebe Bridge section on Friday.
As an FYI I don't know if you have additional or more accurate information, but Chelan Hills Acres Rd, which terminates at Hwy 97, may be all private road. I was at that intersection...
I will probably have the entire day available for travel. Would normally try to get there sooner rather than later but am happy to wait up and caravan. Can meet pretty much anywhere you'd like although there is a gun store in Post Falls I've been wanting to visit.
I've got coverage scheduled for the weekend. Unless something comes up, I should be able to go. Coming from Wenatchee so can connect with someone along the route or meet you over at Silverwood.
Had hoped to make this my first OB trip but caring for my elderly mother always comes first. Such is this season of life. May be able to make it over on 6/10-11 to celebrate my birthday with a trail ride! Have a great time. I'll get there eventually!
I'm interested and will say that I am going but as always my participation depends on how things are going with my elderly parents for whom I am a caregiver. It looks like a fun, easy day and good weather in the middle of winter would make for a nice outing.
I'm definitely interested. This is basically my backyard but I haven't been up there in years. It would also be my first OB trip since joining. I have cb, ham and gmrs capabilities.
Thanks for the notice.
This sounds like a great day of fun for a good cause. I can't commit at this time but will put it on the calendar to consider as the date draws a bit closer.
Hi all. I joined recently and live in the North Central area of Washington State. I drive a stock 2001 GMC Sonoma that I have taken on forest service roads and the like but have no other overlanding experience. I look forward to getting involved.
