So I've decided to start filming everything I do for my overland build. This past weekend I installed an NMO mount on my roof rack and ran the coax straight in from the roof with another NMO adapter to make a clean install.
All the parts I used are in the video description. Enjoy!
Thanks!! I sure do have favorite equipment. Check the video description for a link to a list of gear I use. I pretty much use a GH5, 2 lenses, and the Mavic Air to film.
Thank you! I certainly plan on visiting the Gila at some point soon! There's a lot to see over there. I'll probably have to make several trips to take it all in.
Ok so it's been a minute since I've posted on the forum. I've been caught up with a lot but this year my wife and I decided that we are going to get out a lot more so here is a video I made of our first overlanding trip. I've been building out for the past year. It's not done. I still got a lot...
That's really cool. My wife and I drove there for an afternoon about two weeks ago. That's a fun place to go.
I gotta get out more. My wife and I bought our first RTT so I should be getting my hands on it pretty soon in a few weeks. Then I decided to pull the trigger on a new rack as well so...
I am dying to get out and do stuff. I'm so board. Although I don't have a lot of room to complain since I still have my job. I'm just tired of waiting. My wife and I snuck out for a day and explored some new ground I haven't been to down East of Socorro. Apparently I wasn't the only one to think...

I have bought refurbished equipment off of B&H and I have yet to be disappointed. They are very good with their used rating system. My rule of thumb is to buy anything over a 9.

Laws are far more lax here in NM. Here, your vehicle is legally considered an extension of your land property so you can have a firearm stored however you reasonably want it even on motorcycles. As far as theft goes don’t keep the gun in the car when your not in it. Besides it won’t do you any...
Those dates should be good for me. I'd plan on getting there either a day early or early those mornings and I'd have to be back home that night for work the next day.
I remember something about that plug in. Your right though GIMP is recommended and it is very good at what it does. It all just depends on your workflow process. I mostly use it for my IG collage.
For me color correction and management is easier in a program that’s designed to work with hundred...
Gimp is very cool. I use it but its not the only tool I use. The draw back is that it is a destructive editor which can add to frustration when your doing complex operations. Another area it lacks is the ability to do batch editing/import/export without becoming a computer coding ninja.
