I thought I'd share my own water storage for my overlander and how I did it. Anyone else do theirs differently? Cheers, Grant.

Thanks for sharing!! You guys have bears on the side of the road! That's a bit crazy, are they dangerous? We don't have bears in Australia, except Koalas :tearsofjoy: I loved the camp site on the side of the lake, definitely worth staying those extra few days. The roll the dice idea is really...

    Roll Call....Australia ?

I haven't done the pistol gap track yet. I don't have a winch and worried about being unable to self recover. It looks pretty good though.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

The Misses bought me a gift card from Bunnings, so I bought a new log splitter. The FISKARS-PRO I've been eyeing off, since forever  I got so excited when I bought it and the Misses rolled her eyes at me haha, there are somethings you just can't explain :tearsofjoy: Next thing I...

    Why do you like OB?

I like seeing other peoples overlanding vehicles, camp spots (man, you americans have some sweet camping places) and its a way to escape my reality when I cant get away due to work. Although I'm only new, I feel the vibes here are really friendly and I haven't seen anyone putdown anyone else...

    Roll Call....Australia ?

Absolutely mate, a day is fine to drive in and out from Byfield. I highly recommend camping at Upper Stony Creek (book campsite online through NPRS), amazing swimming hole (creek) and not far from the road/track that goes to the stockyards/9 mile beach and 5 Rocks. During the week is a great...

Post pictures of your camp kitchen

I've been figuring out how I want my draws and rear canopy setup. This is what I've got at the moment. It works for me, just not as nice a setup as it could be.

    What is your sleeping preference?

The older I'm getting, the further away from the ground I get. In my 20's I was ground sheet with bivvi bag with sleep bag and foam mat, then moved to swag for many years, tried hammocks and now I'm in a roof top tent. The body needs more comfort as I'm getting older ...

G'day all, I happen to come across this overlanding forum. Looks like a lot of great info and topic to read. I follow quite a few youtube channels that overland in the USA. Not a whole lot available in Australia. Anyways, I've attached a pic of my overlander and I look forward to joining in...
