I like seeing other peoples overlanding vehicles, camp spots (man, you americans have some sweet camping places) and its a way to escape my reality when I cant get away due to work.
Although I'm only new, I feel the vibes here are really friendly and I haven't seen anyone putdown anyone else...
Absolutely mate, a day is fine to drive in and out from Byfield. I highly recommend camping at Upper Stony Creek (book campsite online through NPRS), amazing swimming hole (creek) and not far from the road/track that goes to the stockyards/9 mile beach and 5 Rocks.

Hey Rob, you'll love it, just chose a good low tide time and you'll easily be able to do 9 mile beach, also you'll get a few (more) pin strips on the car
I've been figuring out how I want my draws and rear canopy setup. This is what I've got at the moment. It works for me, just not as nice a setup as it could be.
The older I'm getting, the further away from the ground I get.
In my 20's I was ground sheet with bivvi bag with sleep bag and foam mat, then moved to swag for many years, tried hammocks and now I'm in a roof top tent.
The body needs more comfort as I'm getting older ...
