Hey, I posted this in my truck build thread but I figured I’d post here as well.
Started working on building this box over the weekend!
It’s not finished yet as I’m waiting for some parts from amazon, but I wanted to test it out this weekend so I got the majority of it completed!
Parts list...
Went out camping with some friends to try some of the new things out! Having power for lights without being worried and the truck battery was awesome! Didn’t get to try out the OBA yet as there was no need to air down.
Unfortunately our trip was cut short. My Catahoula cross puppy had some...
Been awhile since I was on here last! It was a long cold winter in northern Alberta so not a lot new till the last two weeks!
Started building a power supply/OBA/inverter/storage box. I’m waiting on a battery isolator so the wiring is a bit messy and unfinished but it was done enough to take out...
Take highway 40 north from Coleman (right beside blairmore). You can take this all the way to the yellow head highway (jasper to Edmonton)

Beautiful views from the top of lake Louise ski hill, there's a gondola that runs in the summer to take you up.
Also I'd recommend checking out the Fairmont chateau Lake Louise
(You can see it way off in the distance from the top of the ski hill)

Going to be completing my trip up the trunk road (40 for parts of it) to grande Cache later this year. Not sure if it's accessible this year do to flooding/high rivers but kakwa falls is supposed to be nice as is Ruby falls.
If I find more cool spots I'll post here!

Highly recommend Thuren Fab suspension. Their overland extreme kit looks unreal, even with their cheap overland shocks (although the Kings are obviously cooler)

Hey, so earlier this month I had a Friday and Monday off, so my wife, dog and I loaded up for our first real overland trip!
We decided to tackle the forestry trunk road
The forestry trunk road (or FTR) is a 1000km+ road which starts in the crowsnest pass and winds its way north west following...
I actually stole the pic off pwng so I can't take any credit for it, it's one of the nicest I've seen though!
Hopefully this year, if not it'll be the following year for sure! Want to take extra time off and hit the expo as well!
