seems like all this thing does is haul toys now, hopefully soon ill be going up to 33's. debating a cap so i can sleep in the truck haul the atv to remote northern ontario and explore on it. use the truck as basecamp
ya they have a lot, i opted for eibach springs and shocks but i think next fall im going to go full icon. since i think im going to try and keep this truck until the fenders fall off
was finally able to get the UCA's installed. have to do some trimming at the rear of the front fender where the flare attaches i assume the added caster has caused the rubbing im encountering now
these UCA's cost almost double what my shocks and springs did haha. Eibach makes pretty affordable options for most trucks out there now might be worth a look. I agree i love the look of these trucks when i bought it i wasnt quite sold on it but the way it sits now i cant stop looking at it haha
hey guys, sorry for the long delay in posts. I was unable to get away this summer, with my new job and trying to save for my multi engine IFR for my pilots license and a subsequent move north the expedition was unable to proceed. truck build has also stalled, such is life though right?
got to go out exploring this long weekend :D put some new wheels on the truck a few weeks ago lovin the look. ended up in algonquin park saturday afternoon
when would everyone like to do this? i started a new job in early March, so now im leaning late august. maybe a bit earlier, lets hear your input guys!
the frontier was an 11 year old truck at the time, the tacoma i have always found to small inside. feels like the roof is right at my head and im not tall by any means. biggest deciding factors were price (family friend owns a chevy dealer) and ive always been fortunate with my chevy's
Hey all, since november ive been planning a weekish long trip through north eastern ontario (between sudbury and timmins) would just like to share the google earth file with you all and extend and invitation if any of you would like to come along.
Route is a work in progress so any help would...
gave the eibach pro truck stage 1 shocks and springs their first shake down on some washboard roads, this is the aftermath. So happy with how they performed!
Finally got the Eibachs installed, ride quality was night and day so glad i went with them in the end. Lift totals are now aprox 4" up front and 2.25 in the rear. sits pretty level
hoping to add either a CB or VHF radio before spring as well as helper air bags in the rear potentially a topper...
