Bit of an update on my rig.
- Treeline Tamarack tent
- Hardkorr lighting
- updated my diesel furnace into a waterproof case
- added a Mavic Pro to the arsenal and multiple more adventures!!!
UPDATE!! New wheels and tires, as well as a levelling kit.
also added the Pelican storage on the driver side and reinforced my tonneau cover so our chairs and some supplies can go on top of it, secured with a ratchet strap to the rack.
Starting my build - it’s going to be a bit of a slow one but thought I’d show you all the first steps if you want to follow along. Not a ton of this body style out there overlanding and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Denali. The AWD is no bueno for super difficult/muddy trails or rock crawling...
My 2008 1500 Denali, 6.2 AWD, long tubes, chipped, and fully equipped for any breakdowns (it’s a shop on wheels)... Because we like to ride in comfort, power... and the wife won’t let me buy a dedicated overland rig yet.
We are currently in the process of designing and building a custom bed rack...
