Just found this thread while researching some hi lift jack winching. For me to do a front mount winch it would wind up costing about 2 grand. I have to relocat my front intercooler, buy the bumper and then the winch. Thinking of going with a hi lift for the emergency need as i have plenty of...
Dang, i was just thinking about a thread like this today. Got into fly fishing about 18 months ago and been loving it ever since. Started with a free Orvis class and hit the water. I've absolutely loved every minute of it. I've fished mostly in my home state of NC, but did manage to get some...
No worries man, we all get there, i do it myself once or twice a week throwing too much brainpower at something that could most likely be solved simpler on these type of projects. My favorite companies for gear is Stage 3 Motorsports, Built Right Industries and a few others, but they will be...
Your biggest "problem" is your Ecoboost. I have an Ecoboost myself. If i want a Winch Mount Bumper i'm going to want to relocate the Intercooler. I'd go with a Full Race brand Inetercooler then the bumper options really open up after that. The problem is of course the cost, to do all that...
It's really not to bad getting parts for the F150, i think in the fullsize market it's most likely the most well represented in the aftermarket arena. I'd be willing to bet you'd do well to take the FX4 out and see what it can do by itself before you throw to much money at things that may not...

Loving Discord, but mostly for places that don't have a forum, having to keep up with a forum AND a discord server would be rough. I'd love it for emergencies though for people out on the trail.
Sounds pretty useful! Got any pics? I feel like i should change the title of this thread to Show me your recovery gear bags. I bet theres some interesting setups out there or contents we could all learn from myself heavily included.
