Welcome, great to see a new member in the area. I'm in Georgetown. Check out the calendar. There are some events coming up, you may be interested in. It doesn't matter what you drive. Full size rigs are great for Overlanding, their are lots of members that Overland with full size rigs.

I'm attending Overland Exp East in Nov, let me know what your plans are. We have a few other members, meeting up in route. I will start my drive to California, to attend Rally West 2018 aka "Off The Grid 2018", that Monday. I will not be able to attend next month. I have some adventures...

I will be at the event, with some OLB swag. Can’t miss my Commando Green Jeep. Iook for the Overland Bound flag. For those staying over, we can camp as a group.

Ryan Matthes isn't on the Forum very often. He has a Facebook group, that he uses to update the community. I don't do Facebook, so I often feel out of the loop (Spending to much time on the OB Forum I suppose). I'm sure we could get some good event attendence, if Ryan lets the Facebook group...
