    Tailgate Capsule Tent

Ah ok. I've seen name brand and high end stuff fail, so I'd say that goes with most things. I try and have a back up plan, ie, sleeping in the truck haha. I saw this as basically a way to keep mosquitoes and the sun off of you, like an EZ up. So was curious about your thoughts.

    Tailgate Capsule Tent

Why not in BFE. Looks like it would work wherever your vehicle goes.

    Portable fire pits

I'm not a big fan of the Solo Stove. Was skeptical from the start and had seen them at a few events. Recently a couple neighbors of mine got them. Various sizes, so I have them a hard look. They are efficient, but unless you are standing somewhat over them, you don't get much heat. There was...

    Crivit electric cooler

Yesh, it's doubtful at this point. I appreciate your thorough input. Seems my Roto coolers are probably comparable for what I'm doing, so no need to waste money on this. Thanks again.

    Crivit electric cooler

Thanks. Figured I'd I got one, I would use it for drinks during diving but nothing wise really.

    Moon shade awning?

Following to see if anyone else has any input. I agree on the price. I'd rather take the risk on the King for the cost alone. So I'm interested to see if anyone has notes from their use.

    Crivit electric cooler

Has anyone used these and have experience with them. Our local Lidl has them for 50 bucks, has a car jack and outlet plug. Seems like it could be a good option even if it is a bit small. At least for drinks anyway. Anyone use em?

    Best tents?

Good to know. I typically wouldn't be in the market for a large tent like this, but since my boys are still young, its a must. I'm hoping whatever tent i get is cheap and lasts till they are able to have their own tents. So don't want want to make a significant investment. May luck out though...

    Best tents?

I've been in the market for larger family car camping tent. Really depends on what you are looking for. Last time I was in Walmart I almost bought their 12 person Ozark Trail tent, has 3 rooms and is tall. It was $85. They have some others online for a little more but come with integrated...

Gear that I can't go without

I just got the Portable Buddy heater. Its smaller but has done well the last couple weeks. Can even toast bagels on it. I broke out our smaller tent and foam mat last weekend. Definitely missed out on the air mattress. And at least one new tent is in the cards next year. Glad you had a good...

Yeah, I think that is Dunkel hollow. I came from that direction at night once, stupid 4Runner brakes were letting go, so pucker moment for sure. Definitely encouraged me to get the Tundra brake upgrade.

    trails in virginia

Once past the mud pit, I think there is one steep Rocky part on the road to the lake, I believe this is Dunkel Hollow and turns into Switzer Lake. Other than the steep area, I think lines can be picked that stock is doable for newer drivers. There is an area where you can turn off onto Union...

    Done with ground tent

I would recommend a hard shell. Seems to be easier on set up and packing away. A friend has a James Baroud and loves it. There are some other manufacturers too. https://www.jamesbaroudusa.com/product-category/hard-shell-roof-top-tents/
