I’m down man. We are heading to brown mountain for an overnight trip in April. If you haven’t seen the link I’ll look for it and send it to ya. Most everyone is from Charlotte area but there’s a few up this way and in trailersville.

I start work down there every night. It’s too crowded for me so I try and get to the outskirts as quick as I can.

It’s a hay field that’s so wet it’s tough to walk right now. We may be able to work something out one day though.

No. I have some family that lives on the paved road and went to a wedding on the private stuff but that was before I had a 4wd. Legality of richlands road seems like it changes monthly sometimes.

What part of NC?

A group I used to be a part of in high school would rotate areas to attempt to keep it fair to everyone. You could do like one meeting in hickory/Shelby area then the next one would be in Rock Hill then the next in Raleigh. That way the same guys aren’t always traveling.

In my search for a winch I stumbled upon the rough country traction pads. There isn’t a lot of info out there that I can find and to me from pictures look similar to maxtrax. They are much cheaper like in the x-bull range but look like they stack tighter. Anyone seen them other than pictures...
