Nice looking ride, I am on the fence over a Tacoma or 4Runner. What made you decide on the 4Runner after doing your research?
Looking forward to following your build.
I know the JL 44s are a newer generation then my JK 44's, just not sure how much stronger they are. I stuck with 35s due to the costs associated in upgrading the front 44 to handle my type of wheeling. If you are just running light trails, you might be able to get away with 37s, but I would be...
There is a DIY air link that you can make to trick the computer to raise/lower the ride height, only thing is that the higher you go the rougher the ride will be with limited travel. Would be great to level the QC, if that is to your liking.

Wow, loved following your build, great write-ups and pictures. I am looking at a 4Runner TRD OffRoad, but you got me thinking on the SR5 now. If had to do over again, would you pick the SR5 or the TRD OffRoad?
Thanks,
LOL I am looking at either a 4Runner or a Tacoma (Have a Jeep that I will keep as well). The only thing is I think a 4Runner would be better for me with my plans, looking for a vehicle that I can travel in and set-up to sleep in as well. Not a big fan of RTT.
