Welcome to OB Dave! There's a ton of great information and outstanding folks here. Thanks for sharing your story... your resilience and perseverance are admirable and a lesson for anyone facing a challenge. Your on top now Brother! Always forward - Never back!
Ditto on US Park Pass for disabled vets. I never new this... till a time I was up in the Northern Cascades pulling a permit at the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie station. The Ranger saw the VA ID in my wallet and started the paperwork. She handed it to me and told me what I need to add and where to sign...
1/2 towards staying on top of maintenance needs (trans cooler comes to mind) 1/2 towards fuel (my V8 is always hungry). If there was anything left... maybe some new soft shackles.
Good catch... I was an enlisted puke. The quote is from my old SF Mentor and Team Warrant. Hell of a leader and still a great presence in my life. We’ll definitely have to make time to talk.

Sweet Rig! I seriously like your bumper & winch. I went with Eibachs at Mid Perch and Deaver HD +3 and the ass is still hangs slightly (Pre-Runner style). Then again I do have the cap & swing out tire carrier back there. Me and my Gen1 are down the 15 from you in San Diego. Let me know if you...
Excellent looking through these posts and confirming I’m not the only one using a Raptor as an overland platform. I have a 13’ Gen1 and love having that V8 power when I need it. I’ll be following you all closely.
Thanks for the advice. I have a few options for Tech coming up. To be honest, I haven't even looked to deep into the prep for General. As much as I have kicked that can down the road, I do consider an absolutely MUST do.
I like this one best. I've had a Leer and Snug in the past, but this time around I got what I paid for. Solid as a rock. Only the normal small leaks one should expect. And the Windoors are fantastic.
