That would be great, I picked up a few items but some have a very long learning curve.

I noticed most everyone on the forums has one of them. Gonna check those out on Amazon.

We're also looking forward to getting out of the house. I'm trying to convince our friends to go and test out his cargo van lol. We have CB's, Radios, no Ham Unit yet, should I look into one of those and get the License? We might still just roll in late Friday night, trying to figure that out...

2016 Nissan Frontier 2WD Family Cab Build

I knew their was a reason for going with cloth seats lol. My son has his collection starting to grow, they stick on nice and he now has something to look at besides the back of the seat. His "Overland Bound" patches are on order so they will be going up soon as well.

2016 Nissan Frontier 2WD Family Cab Build

Since the truck is still under warranty and has new truck smell, my wife wishes not to have permanent toys mounted all over the cab when not needed. Noticing that the rig has 6 cup holders and were only 3 people I looked for a way to quickly mount the communications equipment in and out without...

    Camp Pizza

Oh it does soften her up lol, plus I toss in some dishes cleaned and make dinner. Then use my magical powers of redirection of attention that I have mastered with our little 14 month old lol.

    Grilling Options

I import most of my camp gear or utilize a local Daiso 1.50 store for small goods that have worked out great for camp. The Japanese gear is generally smaller and more compact, so far been pretty happy with the quality.

2016 Nissan Frontier 2WD Family Cab Build

Huge upgrade today to the rig lol. Got tired of the 3' wispy antenna waving about while driving so found a nice rugged looking one. Matches the rigs look much better now to me lol. Been raining a few days here in Socal so taking advantage of the sunny weather.

    Heating for sleeping

Lol, ya I wish all the campsites we go to had hookups. Most of the built up campsites in California that have hookups are flooded with huge RVs with generators running day and night. I use a Iwatani butane heater made for indoors with safety features.

    Heating for sleeping

So you simply run this off an inverter plugged into the vehicle, what size inverter? That sounds like a pretty simple and easy setup. I might have to pick one up and do a battery test drain with a meter.

    Heating for sleeping

Do you run that all night while camping? What is the power consumption for that?

    Camp Pizza

Lol, thats why they put 4 burner stoves in homes right? I've gotten in more trouble with gear in the house then I care to count lol. Apparently my wife "The Boss" also does not appreciate when I setup tents in the living room to carefully vacuum, wipe down and inspect after a trip lolol.

My truck loaded up is like a Turtle were slow with all the little luxuries, worth the wait lol.

    Camp Pizza

We love our Coleman oven, it's my go to breakfast box in the morning and perfect for keeping food hot till the family gets to it. Never tried the Newman's Own, gonna have to do a pizza sauce battle one trip and have a judging panel lol.

    Camp Pizza

Thanks, the pizzas really do come out pretty tasty. Once you go wood fired at camp you never go back lol. This is my usual lunch, I use Trader Joe's Sliced Deli Porchetta, Fresh Basil, Mozzarella, San Marzano Tomatoes and Spaghetti Sauce cause I like the sauce lightly spread.

    Grilling Options

I purchased the table from Coleman Japan. There is a charcoal grill that sits inside edge to edge but for quick trips the little gas grill does great and it gives us extra room for rice pot and condiments.

    Coffee Set Ups

Just wish I could extend that moment, ohh... For the entire day lol.

    Coffee Set Ups

I like to call it my calm before the family storm lol.

    Coffee Set Ups

I agree completely. Coffee, food and wood fires are always better in the woods.
