Isuzu is a Japanese company....the D-max is very popular in the UK....and now has been redeveloped by Arctic Trucks into this AT35 model, plus all the modifications I have done aswell. It runs on the same chassis as the Chevy Colorado
New shoes fitted today....well pleased! Already feel that the road handling is better than what was on before despite these being muds! Waiting on Smartcanopy to arrive soon to continue with build. Will post more pics as the build progresses

First class bits of kit and will fit almost all types of vehicle. Will post worldwide as well.
That’s a real blow, speedy recovery hopefully and back out on the open road. Insurance just sucks, will find every excuse not to pay out! Get well soon!
This subject may have been covered before but thought I would start again. What type of systems have people installed in their vehicles? What system is preffered heat exchanger or using gas / propane?
Is there a best make of either?
Excellent that’s good to know! We have them arriving in uk in next few weeks with added bonus of assisted opening. In the next few months we are expecting another shipment of ones with the new tri-layer lining! So looks as if I might be putting my order in.
I’ve noticed that a lot of you that have posted on this thread have Tepui tents, unfortunately we don’t seem to be able to acquire them over here in uk, so have been looking at this type (picture). I think they are the same as Free Spirit Recreation ones - has anyone had any experience of them?
That I will definitely do as it’s something I been looking into.....require one....The At35 doesn’t have a spare which always worries me. So either rear swing away or I put one on top. I take it that your based down near Clitheroe? I spent 4 years down that part of the world working in Blackpool...
Sounds good to me! It was a mistake putting on the roll bar and roll’n’lock, complete waste of time and reduces the carrying capacity dramatically- lesson learned!
Definitely give us a shout if you up my way and I will do the same when down your part of the world.
Well you see if I had known about such a company I might have just had one built, however I didn’t....so I had a choice between the RSI or Alu-cab, two of the toughest manufactured ones that I know off. Definitely don’t like the fibreglass rubbish out there. I really like the Frontrunner...
Nice truck! Like the drawer system you have, did you make yourself? Where did you get the roof rack powder coated? Although my rack not that old it’s already showing ware....obviously doesn’t like the wet sea air around here.
Your almost getting as tall as the Arctic with a 3” lift
Some people say the 2.5 is too noisy, but that’s what I like about it. The one thing I don’t like is the fact that they don’t have locking differentials......so an air locker might be on the cards soon, maybe just on the rear...
Yes it is....absolutely love it! Loads of mods on it already, but more to come! If you look at the Readers Rigs photos forum you’ll see some more pictures
