Wait a minute.... that would make three Nissans In one spot. I think there was only two Jeeps the last time.... I like where this is going.....
20L Fuel can..... 5 gallons of gas gets me an additional 75 miles. I use one of the shake siphon hoses and just sit the can on the bed rail. No moving parts, I can leave the can and hose at home for daily driver usage.
Did it shake before the new tires? You didn't answer my question about if these were new wheels or you already had them. Are the wheels Lug centric or hub centric? Did the shop verify there is no "hop" in one of the tires? Most shops don't do this, But, as the tire was spinning on the machine, I...
Been there many times with my old Ford Ranger 2wd. That was one of the main points that got me to replace it. Even with A/T tires and a limited slip rear, it would still not get me there.
Are the wheels new as well?
Before you have them break the tires down and spin them, ask to see if this was done or not. That does seem like a lot of weight, but, anytime you are dealing with aftermarket wheels, you never know. BUT, my short time many years ago working at a tire shop, this...
Also, simply adding more fasteners and or adding ones with different head styles or sizes (or metric and SAE) will slow down the "honest" thieves to where they leave it alone. having to undo 12 fasteners instead of 4 might cause a crook to decide it's not worth it.
Nothing wrong with a hotel once in a while.
once on a trip between Moab and back home to MN, my wife and I found an Airbnb that was on a farm in the middle of Nebraska. They had converted one of their outbuildings to a little cabin. We had to use their bathroom and shower in their house, but...
Look in to the Stanley cook sets. I LOVE mine. Everything nests in to the main cooking pot. I did change out the utensils, but the rest is great.

I use one of the siphon hoses you shake. I set the can on the bed rail, shove the hose in the filler neck, shake a few times, let it siphon in.

Also, aren't you making most of the heat on transmit? So, for typical trail use, its no more than a few seconds of transmit here and there. I'd pick the radio with the features and price you like.
I'd still do the chalk test. that's how I came to the 35psi on my Frontier. I've got 55k miles on my E load range Duratracs with even tread all the way across all 4 tires btw....
How did you come to the 45psi daily use pressure? I run E load range on my frontier and run them at 35psi.
With that said, I come down to 20-25 depending on where I am wheeling. 25 for fire road stuff 20 for more sketchy stuff. I've never gone below about 18, never been on the sand with my...
100%....100%. I'm fuming at the description of the 6 year old holding on to the dog with one hand and the roll cage with the other. Shame on that parent. Never should that jeep have tried that. Others waiting and you have a child with? nope. In fact as a parent, I no longer have the right to do...
As I age and (in theory) become more financially secure / responsible, this is not such a black and white answer. When I was young and broke, I had no choice but also had the body to do it. Now, doing major work requires a few days physical recovery as well as I am starting to not enjoy "fixing"...
How complicated is the conversion? I had a 2wd Ford Ranger Edge years ago and it seemed Ford built it on the same 4wd chassis, they just left the front parts and transfer case out. So, it was almost a "bolt in" conversion.
