And I have a limited slip rear. A not difficult, must-do trail is Chicken Corners. That and Schaffer Trail will give you some great scenery without having to go to far away from yown.

I would advise not going during EJS. It's very crowded and difficult/expensive to find a campsite. Also, you would have to sign up for all those trails and probably won't get them all.

You mentioned Lipincott. Since I've seen what you drive and heard your description of a hairy turn, what is your thoughts as far as difficulty on Lipincott? Did you go up or down?

Go to Golden Eagle Park in Sparks. From there you can head into the BLM land of the Pah Rah Mountains. Petroglyphs, Elk, and isolation.

That's a good list of trails. Broken Arrow in Sedona is very popular, too. Elephant Hill is my favorite trail. Including the drive from Moab, it's an all day trail, especially if you do the hikes to The Joint and the rivers confluence which I recommend. Top of the World is #2 on my list. It's a...
Hopefully it's showing up for you. On the app it looks like it's not showing the link. You can just search for Moab trail nook on Amazon and it's at the top.

If you are going to make it an Arizona and Utah trip, I highly suggest going in March. Beautiful weather in both places with highs in the 70s and 80s. As far as trail time, you need a book since difficulty as well as length are the determining factors. I've used this in Moab with great success...
Chicken Corners is very easy and leads to some spectacular views. It starts just outside of town, too.

Mine says it draws 6.67 Amps and I use the factory car adapter plugged into a 12v receptacle wired to this battery to get my 5+nights out of it.

Rubiconcruiser, I've gone five nights and only had my 12v battery at 12.3 volts. I use a Respironics Dream Machine, which is 12v so I don't need an inverter. I also don't use the humidifier or heated hose.

Sorry I missed your message. I always stay in a cabin at either ACT Campground or Moab Rim Campground. In the spring rooms are really expensive and I get those for about $60/night. We are only in the room to sleep anyway. Definitely do breakfast at Moab Diner. Your pickup will still get you to...
I was there in March and used my skid plates plenty. It was my first time on TTW so I don't know if it's worse or not. I also did Kane Creek and it was was waaay worse. I had to use my winch on Hamburger Hill. Make sure you have the most current book as the trails change a lot year to year...
