Ditched the bed tent and bought a second hand Smittybilt Overlander RTT and my dad and I made my cross bars for the bed.

Installed 285/70/17 (33”) Falken Wildpeak MTs.

I tried this bed tent for camping on a few trips. It was decent, just flimsy and a hassle to put together. Also had to take everything out of the bed and use an air mattress.

Installed a RC 921 leveling kit, new longer bump stops, and 589 Fab HD shock skids.

I love my MXT275! I have the ghost antenna for woods traveling and the 6db whip antenna for more open roads traveling. Both work great. I have not permanently mounted the unit yet but it is small enough that it fits in the glove box and I have the handheld mounted high up on the windshield next...

All I use at camp is cast iron. Easy to “clean” and cooks well with very little mess. Since it takes less heat to keep it the skillets hot I feel like I use less propane. I take my 10.25” Lodge and my 10.25” Lodge Blacklock skillets.

Great idea! I have two of these boxes, and two of the smaller ones. On solo trips I usually just take two of the big ones and one small one. Kitchen box, tools/gear box, and wood box. They work very well and the latches hold pretty well too.
