Ive camped in that shelter before many years ago when I hiked the ONRT. I remember there being quite a few along the trail. About every 12-15 miles if I remember correctly.
Can’t speak to that particular model, but the one I have I got in 2016 and still works great.
Mine is a 13,000 lb with synthetic rope and 2 remotes.
My remotes however, take an unusual battery that is difficult to find at times.
Some basics.
2 things I’ve experienced on my 4runner were the rear door not fully closing even though it looked like it was, and the rear wiper was out of its resting cradle. Both will cause the window not to work.

Hercules Glades wilderness area is nice and has everything you mentioned. Plenty of places to disperse camp or campground camp, it is right by Bull Shoals lake which has good fishing, and Coy Bald is a good place to hike...
