I did a 7MGE in my 85, coupled it with a w56 and still went through a transmission every other year. Night and day difference in power though. Curious to find out how your sound deadening went. I did a bunch on my 4runner with negligible results.

I had actually thought of doing that but after measuring I realized I wouldn't be able to fit my 4runner in the garage. Im about 4" away from the garage door as is.

Nice! Im pretty sure I can make this idea work with my setup. Seems like it would be pretty inexpensive too.

The side mount set up on that Rover is pretty slick…I had not considered something like that. My creativity was lacking on this project so glad I ask for some recommendations. Got a couple good ideas here…..

Yes the back bar where the traction bars would sit. Im unable to lengthen or shorten the distance between the bars so I cant just line up the rear bar with the mounting holes in the traction boards. i could always just drill holes in the boards but I dont know if this would effect the...

Ive had my traction boards mounted to my roof bars with big zip ties for several years now. Its worked fine that way but now im looking for a better and more user friendly way. I thought about drilling holes in one of the bars and using bolts with wing nuts through the holes in the boards but...

I did the NMBDR south to north a couple years ago and have been wanting to do it again. So I would be interested. Need to see how life goes as the time gets closer… Are you going to create an event?

There are a lot of really good routes in the area you can download for free. You can find some of them on this site.

There are tons of off pavement routes in the Ozarks and probably an equal amount a little south in the Ouachitas. At times it also seems there is an endless number of cool/interesting/beautiful things to see and do in the region.
