Unfortunately, it's looking like I might not be making it. I've been sick the last couple days and not feeling any better. Hopefully I can rally by tomorrow. I'll let you guys know for sure tomorrow afternoon. As for trails, I'd recommend either Gorges or Musterground.

It's very likely we can fit you in on someone's camp site if you want to come. Would you be doing a ground tent or RTT?

Is anyone bringing their dog(s) with them? Just trying to figure out whether or not I should bring Andy since he can be kind of a turd around other dogs sometimes.

Short answer: Satellite for emergency comms (like Garmin inReach) and GMRS for trail comms. Long answer: If you're looking for comms for real emergencies, there is simply no better option than satellite. It's possible to use Ham in an emergency, but the number of variables at play make it...
