Sorry to those we missed. @Flamewave and @Exodos_Overland and I all had a nice scenic drive. And getting together! I think we have a good little group starting here in New England! There will be more trips planned! Hope to meet more people along the way!

Its coming up Sunday! I have a route planned around the fire roads, nothing on the enduro trails planned but 1 other trail further down 165 with some mud

The first section is very easy, and shouldnt need anything fancy for tires. The second trail run has some very muddy sections however

Actually made my way out and planned a route. Most of it is open. The good offroad trails accessed from the Griswold side i believe are still closed. State closed them a few years ago, but the roads are nice at least.

Hey, do you have some ideas of where the trails are, besides Lee Rd? Ive driven a pretty big portion with my old truck and my Subaru but the state likes to close some of them. Im hoping the Rd with the old farmhouse is open. Thats always a fun exploration. Any other good ideas where to start?

Thats A-ok! I dont think the trails in Patchaug are too difficult. At the very least little rigs and coffee and hanging out to discuss tactics will be good.

Sorry for the late reply! Yes still going on! Some coffee/lunch in the afternoon and then i believe there will be some easy trail sections. I have to contact one other person who knows the trails that are open well to plan it

Is badland recovery gear from Harbor Freight any good?

Well thats what i was thinking too. I dont want to cheap out but if its still solid equipment, it wouldnt hurt to have. Ill check that brand out however

Is badland recovery gear from Harbor Freight any good?

Im new to the offroad equipment and was planning on buying some ARB stuff, however browsing at my harbor freight i see they have a whole line of recovery gear from soft shackles to snatch straps. Anyone use them and are they ok on a budget? Im not going anywhere super remote any time soon but...
