With any luck I should be out of the shop in time for this one. Also, could we take a moment to see if anyone is going to the Panhandle Rally next weekend?
Finally spent the time and started building my switch control panel in the bronco tonight. Tomorrow, I’ll trim out the plastic bezel and make some filler panels.
Finally mounted my battery with out a bungee cord lol. Found this cool mount plate on Amazon that clamps the optimas by the bottom flanges. Worked really well, billet aluminum, $48.
I built a box for mine, copied one off pintrest. Then in the bottom I lined it with oil absorbent pads that I can change when needed. Many years ago, I took the small Rubber maid action packer, cut a hole in the side for the bar, then put a bar protector through it. Then the saws goodies...
Built all new battery cables, winch cables and jumper cable plug leads. Then today, changed the starter that died yesterday. Next, finish wiring the second battery in the rear.
Grabbed a note pad and headed on another shake down drive in the Bronco and write down what else needs to be addressed before it first trip on the 23rd. And by first trip, I mean it hasnt travelled under its own power farther than 20 miles in over 20 years.
