I've looked at these too along with different shaped buckets from Home Depot. After reading that most are made from galvanized metal and they could put out a toxic gas when burned, I changed my mind.
The tubs are nice. Being perforated and ceramic coated they really radiate the heat. However, they're big and take up lots of room. I've been looking at the Tuffy camping fire pan. I like that it folds up to a manageable size, it's just a little pricey.
@NorCalCrisp @ravenplague, I usually top off gas in big pine and use less than 1/2 tank for this trip. I also bring 10 gallons. As far as water, bring what you need to cook and clean for a normal trip. I think between all of us that shouldn't be an issue. We will need firewood.
Thank you @Michael and @Corrie for the great rig feature and the community you've built. Also thanks for all the fantastic people I've met and become friends with.
I don't know if this helps but I'm running an ARB off the back with a FrontRunner rack. The awning and the rack have slots so it was easy to use a couple L brackets. I don't know how the Garvin tubes are shaped.

I don't have any GPS waypoints for you, however...I can tell you a good way to go from what you listed. From Hwy 395/Big Pine take hwy 168 to Death Valley road to South Eureka Road that takes you by Eureka Dunes, through Dedekera Canyou/Steele Pass to Warm /Palm springs. Lots of available...
