Yes i have. But i was running 34" on stock rims. Depends on what you are doing as to what you need the rims to be. My opinion differs from others as i tend to not conform and test myself to see what happens. On a tundra minimum brake dictated rims from what i heard last was 18". So really its...

Welcome. I owned a 2008 double cab limited before i had my tacoma. The 20s are ok if you go up to 35s but if you drop to 18s you can get the 285/75r18 which is a 35x11.2r18. if the only reason is for airing down you only gain an inch of sidewall between the two rims.

    Dream Rig

I know the last post was a while ago but for the fun of the post . Take a 2008-2012 toyota tundra, swap in a 4.5 d4d v8 with allison transmission and an atlas double tcase. Gear it for cruising at 80mph in 6th and use the cases to drop your crawl to a snail pace. Use the left over 20-30 k to...

    New truck suggestions

Most aftermarket shocks will ride better for longer due to better valving for Offroad and slightly higher capacity. The first thing i would address is final goal for tire size and if your going to carry any weight or tow make sure you replace the rear leafs right away. The ome set works great...

Went out with my "white" tacoma after a support run with a local offroad group. Cleared a tree from the trail so i missed the sunset.

    Need help on tire selection

I really like my Cooper ST Maxx tires. They have 14000 miles and have worn about 3/32 (measured) Great traction everywhere. In the hardpack I know that most tires that are larger lug tend to suffer so keeping it docile in the snow and ice is mandatory. Regarding size with a 4" proper lift...

    Mild Taco Build

Nice looking Tacoma. I run a 2015 but know a fair bit about the trucks if you have any questions. I am running the ARB single and you need to make sure the line coming out of the compressor is a high heat line (they sell it as a kit) and you will be fine. the duel pump is fast but it is also 100...

Kayaks - Inflatable, Rigid, Folding. . . whaddya have and how do ya like it?

I can attest to how great the aquaglide blackfoot angler is. essentially its a paddleboard with a skeg and fishing attachments to make putting items on the side of the boat much easier. (even if you dont fish I would get the angler as its more puncture resistant). I have used it on many...
