I’m in Washington and was looking to head out for a solo trip but have some concerns about fires. I noticed quite a few down in Oregon so probably check before you head out to make sure you’re going to a safe area.
We will be there and plan to stay with the OB group camping using one spot. We will be coming out later in the afternoon/early evening as I have to finish up a work day and pull the kids out of school. So you Thursday.
Just picked up my Harker EDC this week. We upgraded from the smitty Built XL. The sleeping foot print is much smaller but weight and deployment is much faster. I Got the Dirt Circuit electrical system with 100AH battery. I also added on the Propex Propane heater. We opted to add on the Kammok...

Besides the weak point at the wheel this also creates problems with not having your wheels in the wheel well. The further you push them out the more mud dirt and rocks you will start to throw around. Best to keep those wheels tucked in for everyone’s safety.
That’s strange that there was no rail system. As far as I know if comes on all Toyota Trucks. I’m sure you could pick one up of a pick a parts location on a older totaled Tundra. As far as the tent I would recommend getting a mid level bed rack since the Tundra sits fairly high as it is and you...
We are very excited to attend this year as kids events conflicted with last years. A group of us along with Hogman did the WBDR to the event that was canceled due to Covid a few years back but my kids were very excited about the opportunity to attend again. Hopefully we can get out to some fun...
If you want to be on a budget you may have to think outside the box of Jeep and Toyota. Aftermarket items won’t be nearly as accessible but a Nissan Chevy or Dodge will be much less expensive and can be just as capable. On the other side if you plan to go all in just buy what your going to want...
I had Ridge Grapplers which is Nito’s hybrid Tire and never had any problems. Road noise really depends on your vehicle. A nicer ride has better cabin noise dampening. If you notice that Honda Civic you drove in high school is was louder then that family Sedan you upgraded to later. You can tell...
Everyone was safe it was a relatively small accident. The guy from the body shop said it was just a crazy coincidence that it hit in just the right spot to sheer the frame rail on the front right side. We were traveling at 25MPH and someone pulled out In front of us. No air bags went off on...
Sad News as my 2015 Toyota Tundra I built out was in an accident which caused Frame damage. It’s sad to lose a rig that has taken you so far. My youngest took is especially hard. At first I had hope it was some minor cosmetic damage which would have slide me into some potential upgrade replace...

Looks like we will be under a burn ban during the trip so propane only. Hopefully someone has a gas fire ring but not a biggie since the sun won’t be going down until after 9pm.
