Couldn’t remember if I posted a update but got the 35s installed and with 1.5” of lift there is no rubbing . Took it up in the snow and they seem to work quite well even without airing down . Still rather quiet to
Finally got around to getting the new shoes installed , I actually didn’t need a trim as much as I did off the front bumper but the 35s they fit fine with no rubbing with only 2 inches of lift. Gotta love a tall skinny tire
Love rockaway my brother and aunt both have beach houses there and love the slower pace of being in a smaller town . Some great places to check out is kendras River inn ( fantastic food ) nehalem bay winery and of corse surf fishing But that can be done anywhere .
How about a junkyard swap of a TBI ? Super simple , no tuning needed , remember reading a arrival on a swap on a old jeep I 6 . It Just needS a o2 sensor and a map sensor
If you head more past Estacada /Molalla area you will find a lot more unplowed untoched roads , seems like in the winter now most of the Backroads in mount hood national forest are closed off .
I use to love to cruise up to timberline late at night but anymore it’s so overcrowded and they do to good of a job plowing the roads so there’s not much to play in .
Well technically it’s only 4” bigger due to 35s not being 35” and your only dealing with half of the tire so your really only adding 2” of added strain on the drivetrain
